Miss Tified details one woman's quest to learn the tools and techniques of modern cosmetics, and while it's relatively new, this blog seems like its written by someone who knows what she's doing. The tip-off is all the little things: She chose an interesting topic that she can dive into, where her readers can offer their own insights or just come along for the ride. She customized the look and feel of the blog and gave it instant personality with a playful header. She clearly states the question she's tackling, right at the top of one of her sidebars: "How the heck do I master all the products and techniques out there that are supposed to make me look good?" She's knows her own voice and she's posting frequently, illustrating her entries with well-placed graphics. The sidebars have a great mix of navigation into the blog and over to related sites and resources. So, while she may not have completely mastered makeup, if her ability to put together a great-looking blog is any indication, we think Mena Trott will probably be ready to start her own line of cosmetics in about a month.
