Basic Juice

Certified sommelier Beau Jarvis is your host for Basic Juice, a blog about wine that covers a lot of fertile ground. There are hundreds and  hundreds of great, illustrated posts on the Juice -- touching on everything from the basics to reviews to feature articles to wine-friendly recipes to trip reports from wine-producing countries. Right now, Jarvis is just wrapping up a month-long tour of Austria, an expedition he's dubbed the "Live Austrian Wine Adventure." Not only is Basic Juice a great resource for anyone interested in fostering an appreciation for vino, but it's also a fun read because Jarvis is an entertaining character and a generous writer. He even opens the blog up to guest authors on a regular basis. We particularly enjoy his takes on music, his prolific travels, and his overall flair for blog and site design.
